Breakfast is good. Wi-Fi is fast. The staff are very helpful. If you are driving in London, then it's a great location. They have parking onsite with lots of space. This hotel is near a commercial center with quite a few options of restaurants, within a walking distance (only 5mins walking). It's not far to East Croydon Station (about 8 mins by taxi), and from there you can take one of the express trains and be in the city center quite quickly.

The staff member who checked us in was so friendly. She upgraded our room for us. The room was stunning like something from a book. We went to the bar and sat out in the garden for a drink overlooking the golf course. It was stunning. The girl who checked us out the next morning was so friendly too. It’s a stunning place

Shopping Destination with Convenient Station

Midway between central London and Gatwick Airport, Croydon is a shopping haven. Hundreds of stores are found under the glass-roofed Whitgift Centre and the even more modern Centrale complex.

This thriving retail industry is one factor contributing to the town being London’s 3rd most important business area, so naturally it has its fair share of skyscrapers. Also tall is the red-brick Croydon Clocktower, housing the town museum, and attached to the town hall overlooking Queen’s Gardens.

Opposite is Fairfield Halls, a large arts venue behind which run train lines connecting East Croydon Station to London Victoria in one direction, and Gatwick and Brighton in the other. Modern trams also link the town to other suburbs. Croydon used to have its own airport (once more important than Heathrow) and its former terminal is a museum open one Sunday a month.

The town minster houses tombs of some archbishops of Canterbury and their summer residence was Croydon Palace, now a school. Much more famous is the BRIT School which has nurtured musical artists including Adele, Jessie J and Katie Melua.

The Croydon accommodation on Booking.com includes 4-star hotels with pools, guest houses with parking and cheap apartments. In the Borough of Croydon are Addington, home of an opulent palace, and neighbouring Shirley with its Grade II-listed windmill.

    Horrible stay with a double bed in a very small room. Whole room was cluttered with furniture. Too small for a double bed. Ideal for a small single bed. Disastress two nights. We will not consider this hotel again and will not reccomend unfortunately.

    A perfect market town.

    A perfect market town. Lovely olde buildings, especially the library that looked ancient. A gem. Daily fresh vegetable and fruit market. Several pubs, good variety of Indian and West Indian food, all fairly cheap. Two health shops, Holland and Barrett selling Dillon keto bread. Easy tram trip to Wimbledon.

    I like when we travel to Croydon we are able to meet up with...

    I like when we travel to Croydon we are able to meet up with family again and visit places we have not seen in a long while. Theres too many good events to highlight here but I shall include Christmas. We can also travel up town to see a play or get to Ronnie Scotts through Croydon mainline station or Hackney. This hotel is in a very accessible place for travelling intro town and around.

    Never saw much of Croydon as we only stayed for the one night. We did eat out for lunch in a nice pub in the market area. We were up for the night to attend a party and hotel was the nearest we could get.

    It was ideal for us as the reason for our trip was Wimbledon...

    It was ideal for us as the reason for our trip was Wimbledon and they run a tram to Wimbledon station and there you pick up a bus provided by Wimbledon for a small fee. It had plenty of shops and takeaways. The Box a ten minute walk from where we stayed or catch tram to East Croydon.

    Nice comfortable budget hotel.

    Nice comfortable budget hotel. I like the working lift at all times but it is essential for the security of hotel guests for it to operate with room security card. These are troubled times in the world and hotels should guard against undesirable intruders!

    If you want basic, then this hotel is extremely basic, no room to swing a cat. No drawers, no storage, no hangers, the shower is squashed above the toilet, the following night we went to the a hotel some 400yds away, which was cheaper, and had everything you'd expect from a hotel

    The location was excellent being located in a quiet residential street and only about 10-15 mins walk from East Croydon Station and the town centre. It was reasonably easy to find once you had initially found it. Tea and coffee, a tv and a table and chair were provided.
