Absolutely the best accommodation of all the places we stayed at during our trip to England. A stunning, luxuriously and tastefully furnished room with a truly breathtaking view. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating, even assisting us with an issue involving our damaged car. A beautiful and peaceful location. Excellent value for money. We were thoroughly impressed – and we’re demanding guests.

This was a gem of a property!!!!! I would rate it 5 Stars. The room was beautiful, very English country style with the most comfortable bed. The en-suite came with a bath which was a real pleasant surprise. The real treat were the hosts, Andy and Tanya, prior to my stay I had lots of communication with them. I was doing an ultra bike race so I was just going to get there, sleep a few hours and leave in the early hours. Andy and Tanya made me a cook to order breakfast when I arrived at 7.30pm and made me a takeaway ham sandwich with a few treats for my journey onwards, which I really needed as there’s not many shops open where my race route was taking me at that hour in the morning. The next time I return, it will be a more leisurely stay to really enjoy this quintessential Country House.

    We were a group of 7 book club ladies.

    We were a group of 7 book club ladies. We like eating, walking (and reading). This property had great kitchen facilities, comfortable rooms (two ensuite) - lovely bedding and towels. The location was fantastic for walking. The living room is set up with plenty of comfy sofas/loungers which was perfect for our group. Very spacious. Lovely and warm with log-burner and good heating throughout. (We visited in early March.) Parking right outside the door. Good internet. We will definitely come again.
