A nice, comfy room. I couldn't get a single room, so had to take a double. Room numbers start on top floor, so low numbers are higher up. It's all done online now, so I didn't see any staff in the two days I was there. Pretty cheap for a good night's rest. If I need to stay there again, I'll be very keen to do so.

    The room itself was clean and tidy.

    The room itself was clean and tidy. Once in the room found the tv wouldn't work properly and bought the staff up and they couldn't get it to work either. The onsite restaurant was under renovation so no dinner or Breakfast though there was an eatery next door bar one and the food was lovely there

    The town has a lot of history including Holy Trinity Church...

    The town has a lot of history including Holy Trinity Church which is well worth a visit. Plenty of scope of for exploring on foot including the Central Park, the Dartford Marshes and the Thames Path. Sadly the town centre is somewhat run down. Being on the route from London to the Coast, it used to have a number of old coaching inns but the only remaining one is the Royal Victoria and Bull which is a good place to stop for refreshment. There is also a museum adjacent to the park

    We passed through on the Pilgrims Way and saw so much more...

    We passed through on the Pilgrims Way and saw so much more than expected. Loved Holy Trinity church and a welcoming cup of tea. The manicured museum gardens were beautiful. Finding Mick Jagger by the Darenth was amazing.

    we had a one night stay for pleasure and decided to stay near Lakeside, etc. So it suited our needs and it was an historical building, which had some quaint and interesting features. Not everybody would appreciate some of these, but to each their own. If you need more than 2 hangers for the 3 ft wardrobe, I would bring some more. Not super posh, but okay for our purpose as a couple, especially with the free parking and breakfast included

    Left standing at the reception without any staff to check me in, despite informing her I was hurrying to dress up for an event. Met a staff at the bar who told me i must wait until she finish serving the queue of men buying beer endlessly. Very poorly staffed Very cold - no heating. Manager Michael deceived me into thinking he was providing a portable heater. Did not change my room Left me cold in the room despite walking down to reception twice around 3am. I left room around to 4am in the morning Left at reception with luggages very freezing at the reception too left the hotel in the middle of the night due this poor service no apologies Absolute Nightmare

    Dartford is a very busy place , however their are hidden...

    Dartford is a very busy place , however their are hidden gems and villages on the outskirts. Blue Water shopping centre is in the heart which is stunning. I prefer to get the train than drive to avoid the heavy traffic . In less than 40 minutes on the train you are in central London .

    I felt like I was in the middle of acres of land which I was but right by dartford it was even near my church the bed was so comfortable I ended up prolonging the stay the host is so sweet I told her that I would be coming back to stay more frequently

    The situation is great for exploring Dartford. The historic coaching Inn is impressive. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly. On site parking is a bonus. The price is very competitive.
