Love Denbigh we visit friends a few times a year but first time we stayed at the cottage. The location was great as you could access Prestatyn, Rhyl within half an hours drive and St Aspath is a lovely town nearby. Denbigh is somewhat down at heel.
Denbigh is somewhat down at heel. It might be considered a "rough", town and not a place stayfor a holiday. If you have a car it is well placed to visit a number of interesting places that are worth a visit. Were it not for visiting family it is not a place I would visit Other than the Castle, there is little in the town of real interest. Denbigh was a lovely characteristic quirky welsh little town which is a great location to visit snowdonia and the North Wales coast.
