I adored every little detail – from the cozy atmosphere to the incredible hot tub, which was absolutely divine. I’m already looking forward to coming back and will definitely plan another trip to Scotland just to stay here longer. The location was fabulous .... a rural location on the outskirts of Drymen. Very convenient for visits to Loch Lomond, Balmaha, Rowardennan, Balloch, and for hiking on the West Highland Way and and climbing/walking on local hills. Plus a relatively short drive to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Exceptionally comfortable and modern property. Warm and cosy and very well appointed. Owner, Jenny, met with us on arrival and gave us some helpful guidance on local attractions and nearby pubs and eateries.

    As a Scot I know Drymen well, also Buchanan Castle Estate where I was a member at the golf club. In 1986 we transferred to Australia due to my employer. I am pleased to say that not much has changed since then

    For a weekend away with friends , it was restful and comfortable but at the same time had a variety of places to eat and evening entertainment for you to enjoy together . Our second visit and we intend to make it an annual event .

    We liked the friendliest of the people we met, lovely cafe and reasonably priced, A lovely clothes shop offering a variation of clothes, beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks and nice beach a short distance away, ideal for walkers.

    A lovely wee place to visit.

    A lovely wee place to visit. We stayed so we could visit the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies but many come for the outdoor activities. Plenty of coffee shops and bars. The Thursday night Pipe Band is brilliant.

    Ideal location for exploring Loch Lomond and in easy reach...

    Ideal location for exploring Loch Lomond and in easy reach of the trossachs! The village has independent shops for food and provisions plus a very good pub! There's a lovely path immediately opposite the Buchanon Arms approx 200m leading to a viewing area with benches to look out on the trossachs!

    Our trip to the lodge was disappointing as we had no heating or hot water and WiFi kept dropping . Looking at other reviews this looks like unresolved issues and had I checked previous reviews would not have booked The owner offer to provide us refund for above but has we have not received

    I was greeted at the door by Jane with a smile and shown through the house. My room was warm, spacious and super comfy. After an afternoon snooze, I popped out to the Drymen Inn for a huge, tasty hamburger and went back to my room as full as I could be. I slept like a log and almost didn't make it to breakfast. Jane's menu was stunning and I had a massive tasty breakfast and some lovely banter in the brekkie room before heading out for my day. I'll go back there again certainly!

    Breakfast was nice and staff are fantastic! We paid £169 for 1 nights stay Inc Breakfast. Our room was not great. There was water marks on the walls around window and carpet hadn't been hoovered. The cup I was going to have tea in was covered in brown sticky stuff that had been there a while. I couldn't even wash it out. We love drymen and the drymen inn has great entertainment but for what we paid it was very disappointing. Staff are always amazing!

    The Staff were very friendly. It was very dog friendly which was ideal for us. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable. The bar was cosy and the bar food was fantastic and reasonably priced. Great service too. Cooked breakfast was lovely with a good choice of continental breakfast included.. Situated in a nice village. Not far from Loch Lomond. A great stop off on the way to the Inner Hebrides. Free parking in the hotel was ideal.

    Beautiful and quite location with big ground to wall around it and just 2 minute drive from drymen which can get very busy with holiday makers which was great for my anxiety when it got to much and not far from loch lomond especially when you've just done a long slog up ben lomond 😂will definitely be back 😊
