A lovely wee place to visit.
A lovely wee place to visit. We stayed so we could visit the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies but many come for the outdoor activities. Plenty of coffee shops and bars. The Thursday night Pipe Band is brilliant.Guest review byDrewUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Ideal location for exploring Loch Lomond and in easy reach of the trossachs! The village has independent shops for food and provisions plus a very good pub! My room was warm, spacious and super comfy. After an afternoon snooze, I popped out to the Drymen Inn for a huge, tasty hamburger and went back to my room as full as I could be. I slept like a log and almost didn't make it to breakfast. Jane's menu was stunning and I had a massive tasty breakfast and some lovely banter in the brekkie room before heading out for my day. We paid £169 for 1 nights stay Inc Breakfast. Our room was not great. There was water marks on the walls around window and carpet hadn't been hoovered. The cup I was going to have tea in was covered in brown sticky stuff that had been there a while. I couldn't even wash it out.
