The location was great, the staff very friendly. The rooms were lovely, we did get an upgrade to a room with a balcony. Beds comfy. The only complaint would be the room could do with a small fridge. Otherwise great stay

We arrived at the b&b on a rainy and cold day and we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the reception - we deeply appreciated the welcome drink and the homemade shortbread cookies. The room was clean, with everything you need and with a wonderful view on the loch. The breakfast was nice, especially the English breakfast options provided as well as the continental breakfast options. The staff working at the b&b is friendly and very kind, they give good suggestions on restaurants and on things to do

We spent an unforgettable evening. The hosts fed us a delicious dinner, a salad of fresh vegetables and greens from the host's garden, we were very pleased. The best lasagne in my life, Michelin should pay attention to the talents of this chef. Wonderful hosts and wonderful guests in this house. Silence, comfort, tranquility. A full English breakfast with a large selection of coffee varieties under the singing of local birds on the glassed-in veranda. We saw goldfinches and murrelets at the bird feeder. There are many flowers in the yard. Beautiful bouquets in vases, like in a palace. It's a pity that we stayed only for 1 day. But we will definitely come back. With best wishes to the owners of this house.

A good value stay at Little Loch Broom.

A good value stay at Little Loch Broom. Hotel directly opposite loch with stunning views and access for swimming. Excellent base for exploring North West. Room was large and clean with a bath in the bathroom. This is not a modern hotel (don't expect a TV or good WiFi) but it was perfect for our needs and in a quiet setting. Beautiful beaches in easy reach.

    Clean and comfortable rooms.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast with superb locally sourced ingredients. A simple hotel, but the bar meals are quite limited and primitive and 100% dependent on the deep freeze, No fresh local ingredients (though there's a sea farm just down the road, for example). The bar meals offering really lets it down. Otherwise it would be a great venue.

Foisty smell on entering reception, old and dated feel.

Foisty smell on entering reception, old and dated feel. No facilities in room ie tv, coffee/ tea. Bathroom suite from the 1980s, with carpeted floor. The worst fault was no hot water for a shower in the morning and seemingly no interest from staff to resolve the problem

This 5 star property lived up to expectations! Superb modern house with latest facilities. We had a wonderful stay at the Birches Lodge. We were greeted on arrival and given some wonderful suggestions on attractions to visit. The lodge was warm, clean and cosy and we were even treated to a complimentary welcome basket. The hot tub was a real bonus!

The location, the outlook, the attention to detail by the hosts and finishing touches to make us feel special guests all added to an excellent stay. Loved the separate annexe for shower room and laundry. Don’t hesitate in booking.

The Bay Hut was beautiful and in an idyllic setting.

The Bay Hut was beautiful and in an idyllic setting. It was very well appointed and the fire pit in the evening was a great midgie repellent! It was a great base for exploring the area. The Seafood Shack in Ullapool is worth a visit as well as a visit to Inverewe Gardens.
