All the staff were very friendly, always dressed very smart. The room was quite big, fluffy towels, hairdryer in room. Good supply of the best tea, Yorkshire Tea! Good supply of milk, sugar, coffee & decaf coffee. Large TV in room. Plenty of plug sockets. Bedside lights were bright enough, so no need for "big light" Good shower in bathroom

Really enjoyed the food in the George. The Friday Market is worth a look. It is a good base for visiting other attractions in the area. We checked out Malton, and also visited the Hutts Himalayan Sculpture Park.

A charming small town that is quite vibrant.

A charming small town that is quite vibrant. It has a lot to offer in terms of coffee shops and drink/dining places. On both days we were at Easingwold there were markets that were well attended and quite attractive. The town is easy to get to/from. York is not far away to the south and to the north the A19 takes you to other lovely towns, e.g Thirsk.

We love visiting Easingwold, the town is just lovely as are the people. It is very central to a lot of surrounding places like York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Helmsley. We love the free parking in the town and the pubs in particular The George Hotel is comfortable and the food is amazing. We bought some gorgeous chocolate from the autism shop and the lady who served us was so lovely. We had fish and chips from Jake's Plaice which was very tasty.

Easingwold is a small Market town that is alive and lovingly cared for- flowers and tubs, nice variety of shops, coffee shops, pubs, once weekly market and very friendly people It is also close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside that is filled with history and York is a short distance away. The accommodation was very comfortable and the decor was beautiful and stylish. The hosts were very friendly. Fabulous breakfast and also very generous and filling. Sheila went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. We particularly enjoyed the little courtyard accessed from the dining room as we stayed during a heat wave. Easingwold was a quaint little village and we would recommend booking into the restaurant at The George for your evening meal.

Great stay, in the heart of easingwold. Beautiful little village. Great as a base for exploring. We visited a theme park, eden camp and jorvik/york city. The area of the house is beautiful. Local chinese is nice. The house was clean and everything you need to stay there. We ate in the pub it's attached to, looked nice but a bit flavourless. I would stay again!

Absolutely lovely little place in the centre of Easingwold. Beautifully tidy and so well equipped. The place was spotless and very comfortable. Helen greeted us on arrival and was lovely. There was milk in the fridge, coffee, and chocolates and croissants/brioche on the bench which I thought was a lovely touch. We’ll definitely be back!

I was astounded at the simplicity of the 'hotel'. A few rooms above an Indian restaurant - so dinner was taken care of! - clean, well equipped and furnished. The location was easy to get to but quiet - not far off the A19 but out of Easingwold, yet easy to get to anywhere
