The staff were really friendly from the moment we got there until the moment we left! The room was lovely, clean, tidy, well stocked and equipped. Information about parking, check in/out, restaurant was all really clear. The Bowling Green was superb, friendly and organised staff and the food was superb

Lovely little pub and chalets incredibly close to Alton Towers (not even a 10 min drive). There's an Asda 5 minutes away and the food in the pub is really lovely - both me and my husband recommend the lasagne. The breakfast is great - a choice of cereals with alternative milk before tucking into a full English breakfast. Ample free parking, chalets were clean, warm with linen provided. The staff were absolutely lovely and we had some great chats at the bar and my daughter's dairy allergy was well catered for. Very child friendly. I'd definitely stay here again!

Loved the evening entertainment especially out if season wasn’t expecting it! Amazing singers & family quiz, both nights during our stay. The waterpark was amazing the children had a ball! Room had an Xbox and mini fridge which is always appreciated with families! Dan one of the team members was very friendly and accommodating. My daughters have their own you tube channel where they document all their stays they done 2 days of Alton Towers on there, their username is Barnett Brownies 😀

    The Duncombe Arms is located in the village of Ellastone surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, which you can enjoy from your room or terrace, or sitting in their lawned and paved Garden which is in an elevated position maximising the view. There are also dining tables outside, different areas inside and even a fully glazed floor to ceiling room with a retractable roof which allows you the beautiful views when we have some rainfall. In short a Fabulous Location
