The pod was beautifully decorated and comfortable with lots of little thoughtful items stocked for our comfort. We found the location of the pod to be very private with a fenced off garden and pond area that we enjoyed very much. Great location and would highly recommend.

The house was a perfect representation of old meets new with lots of charm and character! It was very well provisioned, with all you need and more in the kitchen, additional chargers for all mobile phones, a smart tv, Alexa’s all around, lots of cleaning supplies, board games (including a Lewis chess board!), books, just everything you might need for your stay and more! There were lots of interesting ornaments around the property giving it a splash of an authentic traditional home, with all we would use in a modern home. We were provided with a coffee machine (including pods), ground beans and french press, teas bags and a lovely basket of Scottish goodies including, porridge, jam, chocolate, biscuits etc. The location was ideal. It was a short walk from beautiful beaches and the famous Butt of Lewis. There were plenty of places to eat/drink including a quirky cafe. We enjoyed watching the lambs running around the Croft across the road. There were sea views from the property on a clear day and a lovely window at the top of the stairs with a day bed to take in the views. The WiFi was great and there was good data and reception in the area. The host was very kind and helpful and which made our stay!

We loved our stay! The house is spotless—brand new and beautifully equipped with everything a family could possibly need, turning it into a true home away from home. Although we ran into some issues with the reservation and the ferries, the hostess was incredibly attentive and helped us tremendously, which we deeply appreciate since we were traveling with children. Thanks to her support, we were able to sort everything out and fully enjoy our time on the island. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. Iaian and Anne are very helpful and friendly. The place itself is beautiful: you have an amazing view from the lodge, which is very clean and functional. It is a super calm atmosphere, with just the sound of the waves and birds. There were loads of personal attention in the lodge too, and everything was local (local soaps, threats, and possibly local ceramic dishes which were very pretty). I had the most wonderful stay :)

We’ve previously stayed in cottages which could be listed as good, alright and downright awful. No21. didn’t meet any of these. It was an exceptional home from home. To just walk through the door and see the property and knowing this is where you’ll be staying makes the journey far north worth every mile travelled. Donald has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as can be even if it is wild weather outside. Donald”s attention to detail also went beyond the property. Whether it was local information or relating to the cottage he was available at all times. We can’t thank him enough and this review doesn’t justify how great no.21 is.

    The scenery and views were the best.

    The scenery and views were the best. Extremely relaxing and quiet, most of the traffic was from visitors, bikes, the odd caravan and local traffic. Didnt bother us at all. Excellent coffee stops and Inns for meals

    If you looking for a place with outstanding nature, beaches and animal life you are right in Eoropie. A place to unwind and relax, to breathe deeply. A lovely, friendly community awaits you. Highly recommended if you want leave the hustle behind you!

    Great location, next to play park, coastal and historic...

    Great location, next to play park, coastal and historic walks and beach great for families. Peaceful location to get away from things. Choice of beaches close by. Close to sports centre with activities and 10 pin bowling for family fun. Local historical places to visit close by including the Comunn Eachdraidh with history of the area and great tearoom.
