Coleford is a decent place a few bars restaurants and shops. We ate at Amici which was very good and we liked The Dog House pub. The walk from the cottage was an easy downhill walk but struggled coming back. It had two double bedrooms which is quite rare. Nice and clean. Easy to park right next to lodge. Had a few basics to cook with, tea and coffee. Nicely equipped kitchen. Utility room. Good bathrooms. We liked all the info and takeaway leaflets on the table, quite rare nowadays but actually really useful. A lovely location with walks straight into the forest.
