For a hotel that seems to have ongoing work inside, it has tons of character and punches above its weight. With rooms that have a feeling of home, you're guaranteed a great sleep. The staff go above and beyond for the guests making any visit that extra special. Discretely elegant and unpretentious country house hotel, nestled in the Moray countryside. Charming host Graham has had an extraordinary life and it’s no surprise that he and his wife Sheena have made such a success of Blervie and created such a fine and welcoming hotel. The place is immaculate and attention to detail meant that nothing was forgotten. Our room was large but not drafty with gorgeous views over the grounds. Loads of hot water was appreciated. Top quality bedding and a comfortable mattress made for a wonderful nights sleep. There was no television but that added to the feeling of escape from real life. Breakfast was served at the large communal dining table was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed meeting other guests and hearing some of Graham’s fascinating farming experiences.

Everything was wonderful, the owners were super receptive and the location is close enough to the pubs to walk but far enough that I was able to see deers in the morning. I loved staying there!

    Forres is a lovely friendly town. It has lots of shops to browse. Grants parks amazing for children and any 4 legged friends. Chimes is a Great coffee shop. There was lots going on within the town with it being Remembrance Sunday.

    we loved the house and garden,the hot tub,everything was great,the down side was the river was to fast to allow the kids or dogs to go in and the garden wasnt secure but we managed fine,would like to rebook for 2023

    I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily...

    I can’t say enough positive things about the lovely Lily Cottage. It was spotlessly clean,well appointed and has everything that one would need for a fantastic holiday in Findhorn. Pub, Bakehouse, Hotel, Cafe and beaches all within walking distance. Parked my car for the duration of the stay. Didn’t need it. The cottage is finished to a high standard and beautifully furnished.

    Our stay in Forres was good.

    Our stay in Forres was good. We were most impressed with the Mosset Tavern and the chippy next door. We were visiting relatives so did'nt do much site seeing, but visited Logie Steading Gallery and most impressed

    Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray...

    Forres is one of the best, nicest towns along the Moray Firth coast. There are still independent shops and beautiful well-kept green park areas. It has a Victorian heritage. There are a number of pubs with nice areas to sit out in. Forres is also well-connected for road, rail and air links. It forms a good base for exploring or for business visits.

    Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street.

    Beautiful town of old buildings along the High Street. Grant Park was lovely. Huge area of lovely flower beds and play park for children. For lovers of archaeology the Huge Suennos Stone is situated in the town.

    The little huts were great and much warmer than anticipated. There were two of us and 2 dogs and we were comfortable in the space. We didn't use it, but it was a lovely little touch to have a TV available and the firepits outside. The location is beautiful, great for watching the sheep with your morning coffee and only a short drive into Forres, Nairn or Inverness. Karen was really friendly and welcoming, checking we'd arrived safely and saying hello when in and around the huts. Was great to find a dog friendly location too!

    Perfect location in centre of town. Easy to find, close to a variety of eating options and selection of shops. Room very large, simply decorated but perfect for our short stay. Check in very easy: Woman who checked us in extremely helpful and informative of local area. Breakfast was substantial and made fresh to order which gave it a personal relaxed feel. Check out just as easy if not easier than Check in. Will definitely choose this hotel again if available when visiting area.
