The location was really good for feeling lost on the Moor but still a few minutes drive to Fordingbridge to get groceries. The garden is well fenced for dogs, which gives you a less stressful / piece of mind break. The cottage admin was faultless and exceptionally prepared for arrival. Overall well fitted and presented for the price point. We tend to try new places everywhere we go but this one is on our radar for another mini break, M&J

We checked in later than expected and were met met by very friendly staff that checked us in and showed us to our room. We were very happy with the room from the moment we stepped through the door. It was clean tidy and well laid out with and amazing bathroom. We were visiting from New Zealand to meet family and the staff even gave us 30 minutes or so after close to keep talking as it was only visit for ten years, thank you to all the staff, and thanks to the chef for lovely meals in the evening. Brealfast the following day was also excellent and again served with a smile from the fabulous staff, Myself and my daughter loved the stay.

Lovely hotel. Perfect room for a family of 5 and very large with all the facilities. Amazing location in the new forest. Garden was very nice as well. The children loved it! We didn’t have breakfast but we had dinner and it was very good, even though kitchen closes at 8.30pm. Would really love to stay here again as it is everything as described and more.
