We had a great stay at Belton Woods meeting with friends as it was a mid-way point. The hotel is gorgeous & the pool was great, especially for kids (you just need to know the hours), we had a lovely meal, Indie was so accomodating as we had 4 children under 5 & provided such good service. Everyone loved it, great family rooms.

This hotel is in an old building with no lift and narrow stairs. Don’t expect fancy ultra modern design or fittings. However, Martin and his wife Tracy have absolutely maximized it’s potential in the way they run the hotel, the facilities they offer and the friendly welcome they provide, together with great value for money. They offer free private parking with a good degree of security. They provide clean comfortable rooms with all you could ask for, including tea and coffee, fan, smart TV, etc and so many other thoughtful touches. They offer excellent food of an evening. And above all they offer a very friendly welcome. All this was more impressive as Martin was flying solo on our visit whilst his wife was away. We have just stayed in a well known brand chain hotel which was frankly appalling and twice the price run by management who clearly don’t care. The Avenue hotel however is exactly how a hotel should be run.

Staff were so nice, Martin from the front desk, in particular, as he lent us his plug to charge our phones and in the morning Martin came to the rescue again when our tyre was flat and Martin came with a tyre pump and pumped it up for us. Excellent service and bed was so comfortable…… directed to a lovely restaurant Millar and Carter. Would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone

Highly recommend from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, had excellent service, clean, polite, friendly and amazing facilities. The evening we arrived they were fully booked for food but still manage to squeeze us in so we could have some food. The meal was very big , the taste and quality of the food was amazing. If we need to go back up any time, I will definitely rebook here if it’s available. Well done 5 stars all round and thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed xx

Loved the hospitality! Cleanliness overall and had a very homely feeling! Kinda felt bad cause I came directly from tough mudder, glad I took a shower at vanue and cleaned myself and had fresh clothes. It was one of those places where everything feels so clean that you automatically want to make sure you don't make a mess. :D Located in nice peaceful area, have eating tables and books. Provided so many options for breakfast and my fav, hot chocolate! Absolutely lovely lady and house.

We loved our stay. We received a very friendly welcome from the hosts Patrick & Jenny. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The hosts were simply wonderful, friendly people. We would highly recommend this B&B.

We were just blown away by the Studio, Katie had thought of everything you could need for a perfect getaway experience, and she was so helpful. The bed was the most comfortable we've found anywhere in our travels - we even found two hot water bottles, just in case (not needed). The breakfast provided was just right for us. Our dog, Grace, was in her element, loads of walkies and places to explore. Just wonderful!!
