The buildings on site are well-renovated and breathed history, framed by a canal and a river active with boats. We stayed in the main lodge, which had a large lobby, restaurant and bar. The two rooms we stayed in had character and space, were comfortable, and had large windows overlooking well kept gardens. The staff were amazingly helpful, attentive and friendly. The breakfast was superb. Great location too, two blocks from town, where there were many choices for food and drink. A perfect setting for a wonderful holiday.

we had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast catered for all dietary requirements! the location is great with easy access into Oxford and a short walk into the Centre of Abingdon. The laundry facility and gym were excellent!

This was the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. Our grumpy beagle was made very welcome by the staff with a selection of doggy treats on arrival. We only had breakfast as we were visiting family nearby but it was a good hearty full English. As expected with a 14 Century building it is showing its age. A lovely location with a 1300 year old Abby near by and open for visitors.
