This is such a great place to stay if you’re planning to explore the cotswolds! The rooms are big, the owners and employees are really nice and the patrons are great too! The pub downstairs serves delicious food and has plenty options when it comes to food and drink. The room and en suite were nice and roomy. I had some of the best sleep in my life here. And you can literally start your hike from here, right in to the most stunning English countryside. We absolutely loved our stay at this family-owned business, and it seems to be a favourite of many locals too. Always a good sign in my opinion.

beautiful location, perfect for wedding we attended, Cricklade is a beautiful little village. Lisa and Tina are so helpful even looking after a wedding cake that travelled down with us, and breakfast was lovely, perfect poached eggs!

The welcome and warmth of the staff was super. I arrived after a very long day of cycling and I was looked after so so well. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent. I would have loved to have stayed longer than 1 night.

Great location, nice pub, breakfast with choices and was delicious. I stayed at serious room which was very comfortable with modern shower. But I noticed the other small rooms wouldn't be comfortable. Parking is free in the middle of town btw.

    I liked the bar and restaurant best in the Saracen's Head. My room was a little disappointing. The hotel fronted onto the market square, which was very pretty, with some interesting shops. I ate at the Saracen's Head itself. Everything was excellent - quality, staff, prices - no complaints there.

    It was a friendly little town there was a festival for summer or harvest goign on whilst we was there stalls and food everywhere street performers and it had great access to all the areas we wanted to visit

    Highworth is a lovely small market town with lots of interesting history. It has a very useful visitor centre with a small museum. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot of ancient historical monuments and sites within easy reach. The cotswolds are on the doorstep and it is an easy trip to Bath.

    Stayed last 10th and 11th march with a group of friends for Cheltenham lovely hotel with very fair prices, Claire was brilliant behind the bar very friendly and kept the drinks flowing, couldn't ask for more and highworth has exactly what you need for a couple of nights away, thanks Claire and all the staff Gary
