    Great base for local attractions for example Alton Towers...

    Great base for local attractions for example Alton Towers and Twycross Zoo. Clean, well presented property that was very well equipped meaning we could cater for ourselves and make picnics up. Large Aldi short drive away. Easy to find following owner directions and/or satnav. Quiet estate with small children’s park nearby. Communications with owner were informative and timely.

    Stayed here for two days at Alton Towers.

    Stayed here for two days at Alton Towers. Everything was great. Very clean, nicely decorated and furnished. Nice safe neighbourhood with a Tesco Express nearby. Anna left us some milk, tea, coffee, chocolates and crisps which was a really nice touch. The property was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I think that what we paid for our stay was very reasonable for the vastness of the accommodation. The white towels were beautifully laundered, soft and smelt delightful. Excellent accommodation.

    Don't go unless you don't really care that much for a good...

    Don't go unless you don't really care that much for a good night's sleep or good decor. Food was mediocre, said homemade chips, definitely not, frozen. Quite expensive for cheap ingredients. The staff here however were lovely, young but very nice and worked hard.

    The property was absolutely perfect.

    The property was absolutely perfect. I would like to say it’s not Hilton it is in Hatton. We only stayed one night after visiting relatives in Barnsley. It was a perfect stop to visit The National memorial Arboretum. From there we travelled to Somerset .

    Meals were very good. We had dinner and breakfast and were very happy with the food, the quantity and the price. Having to eat gluten free and dairy free, I was extremely pleased that my dietary problems were well catered for. The chef came out to check with me and offer me alternative suggestions. Also plenty of hot water and the hotel was warm, which was much appreciated.

    Really nice little hotel. Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Stayed one night for a works Christmas party. Arrived late and the staff were so helpful to get me checked in quickly when the party night was in full swing.
