We all had an amazing stay at Brinks view. The hosts we're very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we could have needed for our weekend away. The little touches from the hosts, such as fresh bread and cakes were so lovely. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Our weekend was spent hiking and scrambling. We visited three different peaks over the three days. The house was in a perfect location for access. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back x

I couldn't fault our trip - it was simply wonderful from start to finish. We had booked a king room which was amazing, so spacious, clean and modern. Topped off by a beautiful mountain view. The surrounding area had lovely walks with scenery for miles! The Blind Bull staff were all so friendly and welcoming, taking a genuine interest in your stay. There were so many small touches which made the stay feel extra special! The food was exceptional - everything tasted so good so I would definitely recommend booking an evening dinner in the restaurant.

Hope is an absolute gem of a village in the Peak District with so much in the way of amenities. There are 3 great pubs which all do fantastic looking food as well as a convenience store and an Indian Takeaway.

There is a hop on hop off bus that goes round the Peak...

There is a hop on hop off bus that goes round the Peak District, would be handy to use as parking can be an issue at busy times. The Old Hall Hotel was a great place for dinner - staff were amazing and accommodated our group really well. Look out for events taking place in the Peak Cavern (The Devil's Arse), we went to a live music event, which was brilliant. Great hiking routes around Mam Tor, with easier routes as well as harder routes.

Hope is a pleasant village.

Hope is a pleasant village. Having a station is a great bonus, providing the opportunity to travel locally - and beyond - without worrying about parking etc. There are a couple of good pubs and other places to eat.

Hope sits on an A road and is just a few minutes from...

Hope sits on an A road and is just a few minutes from Castleton. It is handy for some really interesting places and good walking routes. Without roadworks it will be three quarters of an hour from Sheffield and the M1.

There are 3 nice real ale pubs, a deli and a couple of lovely cafes. It's a centre for all sorts of outdoor activities and can get busy in the summer. You can see the cement factory chimney from everywhere, but it's not an eyesore.

The Hotel offers good value for money and plenty of parking in close proximity to other more touristy towns and attractions. Staff was very friendly. The tearoom was wonderful. Breakfast was really good.

Beautiful room, perfect for relaxing after long days walking, with great facilities like a rainfall shower and mini fridge in the room. The bed is the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! We also really appreciated the fresh coffee and milk (and biscuits!) that were kindly left for us. Super close to the train station too and only a 10 min walk to Hope village down the main road (or slightly longer route via the fields and Navio Roman fort site)

We enjoyed 3 nights whilst taking in the sights of Hope & Edale. The room was lovely & clean, the staff were attentive and welcoming too, always approachable. Saturday night was very busy but that didn't stop the bar staff going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We had a selection of coffee, tea etc in our room on arrival. We had fresh towels & soaps laid out for us, with a spare hand/bath towel too.

An amazing stay and for sure we will be back there again . Beautiful view and the shepherds involved with everything you need for cooking. It was cleaner than 5 star hotels and comfort . Just Grab your coals and meat and enjoy a barbecue with amazing Peak District hills view.
