We used to travel there many years ago before children so it was to reunite with old friends. The Barley Mow next door is one of our favourite pubs with great beer and we loved the posh burgers (bean burgers are available). The village is lovely and we had a walk to Carsington Water. Kirk Ireton is a quiet, safe village.
Kirk Ireton is a quiet, safe village. It is close to Matlock and Carsington Water, which is a nice place to visit. The Barley Mow Inn, next door, only does food at weekends, but there are plenty of pubs/ restaurants within short driving distance.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom
