The staff were amazing and very accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us. We booked a normal double room but mentioned it was our first anniversary as a couple and they upgraded us to the top room with lounge access without asking. The room was really good too. Thank you

    Stayed overnight after cancelled flight at Gatwick.

    Stayed overnight after cancelled flight at Gatwick. Arrived at 11pm and the guy on receiption was very professional. He booked us in quickly, explained breakfast and also helped us with onward travel arrangements. The breakfast was excellent - chef prepared crispy bacon just how I like it. As we left the breakfast room the same guy was coming on reception desk and he organised a taxi to the train station. Great staff and a lovely hotel, just we didn't get time to use the facilitiies.

    Visit this hotel every year.Always accommodating. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff are all without question amazing.They create a relaxed atmosphere whilst unobtrusively providing for your every need . Location is perfect for a day at the races.

    Friendly staff and great for golfers and racecourse users. Good swimming pool and convenient parking. Rooms are tired and dated and the double beds were uncomfortable for two people. There also wasn’t enough staff breakfast and the volume of people meaning food ran out quickly.

    The room was very clean as was the bathroom.

    The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Check in was quick and friendly. The food in the Restaurant was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly without going over the top. Ideal place to stay for Gatwick Airport. I can throughly recommend staying here.

    Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone...

    Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone the hotel to inform them that the one light bulb in the bathroom did not work, the tap in the bathroom did not work properly and the basin did not drain properly BUT they did nothing about it. The furniture was also visibly dirty.

    location was very good ,i would avoid using this hotel if i was coming to the area again . we had a breakfast at the property but it was only warm so we had the need to find a cafe close by ,bear this in mind if you book a breakfast .

Enjoyed watching the planes from the garden Dog friendly Village location with shops, restaurants and a petrol station Off road parking Owner tried hard to sort cooker issue Good location for Hever castle, Chartwell and Scotney castle. Lingfield racetrack is within walking distance

    Very traditional location with a good pub and plenty parking space. Very good food at a fair price. As a hotel however it only suits rather low demands and definitely not for those looking for a quiet stay. The room itself was however very clean.

    Nice hotel in a good spot with lovely views over the race course. The room was spacious with big double glass doors leading to a small balcony. Bathroom again spacious with nice shower. Nice swimming pool, and spa area. Very good breakfast.
