We were there to visit family in St Athan so spent most of our time there. Our stay at 2 Stable Cottages was lovely and we would definitely go back. The cottage is not in Llancarfen - it's in Llanbethery, a...
The cottage is not in Llancarfen - it's in Llanbethery, a separate village deeper into the countryside. Local signage is poor and sat nav not much help at times. We were out each day, so had brought food for breakfast, no shop in Llanbethery. We ate in Cowbridge and Llancarfen (Fox & Hounds open Wed - Sun) The Heritage Coast/Ogmore not far away and worth a visit.
