Perfect homebase for exploring the island, will need a car as it's quite remote. Local pub is closed, can find all the amenities in valley about 5 miles away. I honestly can't fault this place, beautiful sunrises over the farm yard.

Staff was brilliant! Really nice and helpful, thoughtful and gave me a quiet room as it was a wedding downstairs. Room was small but enough space. My room had windows towards the street but it was quiet during the night

The view of the sea, early in the morning, sitting in the window was incredible. So relaxing, area was quiet, room was spacious, breakfast was lovely. Fresh flowers in the room were a nice touch. Plus the made the bed is made every day and gave fresh towels every day, in the spirit of sustainability, I haven’t seen that in a hotel in quite a while.

This is an outstanding pubhotel. Great place to explore Anglesey. Very friendly staff, locals who join in and give advice where to go and who make sure there are some good laughs. That all comes together with good food. It is wise to book dinner in advance as well, as it lies in a small village. The coastal path is nearby, so great for walking.

What guests said about Llanfaethlu:

Very well equipped and laid out property.

Very well equipped and laid out property. We ate at the Sea Shanty in Trearddur Bay & Gadlys hotel Caemes. Very different venues but both very nice food & recommended. The beach at Porth Trefadog was clean and the water very clear. It was a nicer beach than church bay but less facilities. Church bay facilities were closed when we went first week of September. Cyclists paradise very quiet undulating lanes around the coast line & centrally, if you keep off the A roads. Miles of footpaths to explore
