Only nice thing was the land and gardens, everything else was a dive. No aircon in room really old bathroom and dirty floor granite. Really needs upgraded. Wish we staying in a Premier Inn instead. 7 adults stayed here for the weekend. Such a beautiful cottage, with everything you need at hand. The cottage is massive! Plenty of space to socialise, or if you want to, relax on your own. The weather was glorious, so we enjoyed soaking up the sun in the garden. It was so peaceful and the views are stunning! A great place to relax and get away from everything for a short while. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the grounds were good for gentle walks - we didn't play golf but it's there if you need it!! The photo and description of the rooms are not correct, the window was that small and high you could not see out of it, no comfortable lounge chairs in room as it was too small. Stuck up in a attic room with a sloping ceiling Pool area not clean towels left on beds not being used and cups and drink bottles left, changing area not clear, slippers and towel left in there, for over a hour Make your own bed ! My partner had an injured arm and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating of this when swimming etc. Comfy room and good facilities, bathroom was a little dated but perfectly functional. Only issue was the room service breakfast, £50+ for 2 mediocre breakfasts felt very steep, even if delivered to the room. Food was okay but no better than a chain hotel, yet almost double the price. On a busy holiday, we stayed three nights here and decided to have one day here just enjoying the hotel. We had a walk, a swim and enjoyed a massage in the spa. We decided to upgrade our room before check in and had the most lovely corner room with views of the gardens and golf course. We had breakfast one morning which we couldn’t fault. I was visiting alongside some friends who were staying at the nearby hotel, so it's perfect or that - was able to go make use of the spa facilities there which was great. Zoe was a great hostess and very attentive- breakfast was really good. Lots of choice.
