The complete package is very round, excellent room, wonderful dinner in a Michelin Star Restaurant which really earns this star, very nice and supportive staff. Nicolas and Murray were fantastic and made our dinner very special. Since years finally a Michelin Star restaurant were we both would love to come back.

Exceptional food, classy service, super comfy mattress and bedding, hidden getaway feel. My husband said that it might be the best cooked breakfast he has ever had (which is high praise indeed given we have been lucky enough to travel extensively to some very exclusive resorts and hotels around the world).

Love it, very friendly manager who made us feel welcome and was very friendly. Huge room with great views. My room did not have an in-suite bathroom, but it was very close, and we did not mind. The place was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable.

Fabulous spacious room with an amazing view of the golf course and the sea. Extremely helpful staff on the front desk and breakfast crew very friendly and attentive. Quiet and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We came on this trip as a mini moon after getting married, we wanted just a few days to ourselves in Scotland. We had the most magical time and can't wait to come back! Fiona and Allan couldn't do more for us, from welcoming us in and suggesting things to do to making suggestions on how to get home as there were events taking place all over! The food was superb, my wife and I loved the breakfast! And the scenery was so picturesque that we have been raving about it to anyone that would listen! Thank you, Fiona and Allan, for making our trip one to remember!

The untouristy and ‘local’ feel of the village.

The untouristy and ‘local’ feel of the village. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. All of these East Neuk villages are close together meaning that you don’t have to travel far for a taste of the whole coast.

I love the people - so friendly.

I love the people - so friendly. We had a couple of meals in the Crusoe Hotel - one in the restaurant and one in the bar - both delicious. Had a drink in the Railway Inn which had a great atmosphere. Good local shop

Small and quiet, easy beach access but water quality has...

Small and quiet, easy beach access but water quality has been rated as unsuitable for bathing. Lots of wildlife to watch - we saw gannets diving, cormorants, a seal sunbathing, swans, ducks, herons. Two pubs/hotels serving food all day and one village shop within yards of each other. Large car park at north end of the village.Lots of footpaths to explore and interesting buildings in the village.A short drive up the coast is a large farm shop and fishmonger. Some of the roads are single track and one way, so need to be careful in the older part of the village.
