While on my motorcycle tour through Wales, I was looking for a last-minute place to stay near Cardiff as a starting point for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. Luckily, I came across Cresselly Inn. The room was newly renovated, bright, and modern – very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and offered everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and homely atmosphere from the moment I arrived. A special highlight of my stay was the quiz night. I had just checked in and was already invited to join a quiz team. I ended up having a lovely evening with the locals – one of those travel moments you don’t forget. I rarely feel this welcomed as a solo traveler. I can highly recommend Cresselly Inn – whether you’re just passing through or planning a longer stay in the area. Authentic, friendly, and simply a great place to feel at home.

    Though it was a pleasant house to stay in, the work that had been done to the place still needed some attention. It had been said by the owner, Ian, and we accepted it for the time. Unfortunately we were unable to sit out the back when the sun was out on a couple of lovely days weather, as the rear garden had no furniture.
