Beautiful hotel, perfectly located between train station and right in the centre. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Room spotlessly clean and well equipped. Gorgeous toiletries provided. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing shower. Tasty coffee and cocktails, too, if you don't want to venture too far. There are so many good places to eat nearby. Rooms have an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Our room had a great kitchenette with dishwasher and washing machine too. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting Manchester again. Hands down one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in.

The unique feature of having a beer tap right in the room was a standout, providing a delightful touch to our accommodation. Although we encountered a slight hiccup when the tap stopped working, the hotel staff was quick to address the issue. They promptly looked into the problem and compensated us with an assortment of canned beers, ensuring our experience remained seamless. Additionally, the concept of a 'shower beer' added a fun and refreshing twist to our routine, making the entire stay memorable. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day exploring the city. The staff deserves a special mention for their kindness and attentiveness, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast at the hotel was superb, consistent with the high quality we’ve come to expect from BrewDog establishments. Overall, the combination of innovative amenities, responsive service, and comfortable accommodations makes The DogHouse a top choice for anyone visiting Manchester. Highly recommended for a unique and satisfying stay!

Amazing service, Kathryn was extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and answered to all my questions about the hotel’s history! Alexander was a great help to introduce to us the city and what are the good restaurants to go :) We had some words in French from Nigel. For breakfast, I cannot remember their name but the people taking of us were great!! I remember a lady giving us great advise of where to go in Lake District (our next stop after your hotel). BIG THANKS TO THE ENTIRE !!

The hotel was very clean and the lady’s on reception were very helpful. The car park was blocked off that night due to an event near it and the lady stayed on the phone and directed me to the car park. We were upgraded to a stadium view which was amazing and it was mine and my sons birthday and we got given some gifts. Amazing stay and we can’t wait to book our next stay there. The fridge has complimentary snacks in.

Very pleasant experience, comfy stay for a couple in amazing price. Everything ready for the stay, nothing missing, all clean like new... Greeted very professionally, even with cups of coffee / hot chocolate. The localisation of the apartment is really good. Nearby a lot of interesting restaurants, Chinatown or Christmas Markets (if you're visiting late November & mid December).

I live in the South, but travel around the country a lot.

I live in the South, but travel around the country a lot. Yes, I am a City fan, but I find Manchester the best place in the country anyway. Be yourself, tell the truth, have a laugh...it's what they do. Don't think you can't join in, just be polite.

As I have an interest in architecture, creative arts, British criminology and sport. Manchester has a wealth of historic and present aspects i had a desire to explore. I don’t think I’ll be there next year as I want to savour what I have discovered and seen in the last three years, but in the future I will visit again.

A lively, young and vibrant city.

A lively, young and vibrant city. I loved the heritage and history and civic pride. Lots to see and do. Mancunians are exceptionally friendly and helpful if lost. The Christmas markets were extraordinary and wonderfully busy. Loved getting around by tram - such an efficient way to travel and never gets stuck in traffic. A trip out to MediaCity and Salford Quays was excellent and included seeing the impressive Imperial War Museum North and the Lowery gallery. Both worthwhile visits. Discovered a gem of an Irish Bar in Northern Quarter with live music. Perfect!

We love the variety. Historic houses a short drive away.

We love the variety. Historic houses a short drive away. Several museums (Manchester Museum is a Gothis paradise with a brilliant cafe) and art galleries in the centre but most of all, the live music venues, The Halle Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall, Classical music and other at the Royal Northern College of Music, Stoller Hall, the Cathedral and many other places PLUS numerous groups from the US and locally. You could attend a live music event every night. A wide variety of restaurants, including a few veggie/vegan. Not much in the way of parks in the main centre but Whitworth Gallery and park is lovely and RHS Bridgewater is about 20 minutes drive away. Good shopping too.

Fabulous surprise to find such a comprehensive array of things to help make a stay comfortable in the room. The design and styling were also first rate and for the first time in a UK City centre hotel managed to get a goo night's sleep with the very comfortable bed and pillows and air condition that worked quietly. Just goes to prove that a UK offer can be just as good as the best on the continent. Location of course being so central perfect. Well done, we will be back!
