Everything. Staff were lovely. Great vibes - very chilled out. Food was lovely. Very dog friendly. Shower and bed were fantastic. Loads of quirky little bits that made the hotel stand out. Fabulous stay and great location. Parking a few minutes walk away. I liked that you weren't restricted from any part of the hotel or restaurant with your pet. Welcome drink and food voucher, confectionery station on every floor. Rooftop bar. Record player and tv in the room. Nice light features.

Vibrant City !!

Vibrant City !! Excellent for a weekend or few days away. Plenty of hotels in a good location - walkable to most places and good link tram service. Ample restaurants and bars offering different types of foods - something for all tastes - from street food to fine dining. If you like Spanish food, I recommend La Bandara ( just off Deansgate ) had a superb Tasting Menu here, complete with Wine Flight, very enjoyable, well presented and served by knowledgeable staff. ) Also worth a visit is Evuno , a Soanish Tapas bar, great food and wine here as well. So much going on - theatres etc ,we visited the beautiful Bridgewater Hall for a Tony Hadley concert, great sound. Many many shops !! And the Xmas markets were spread around, so not overcrowded, pleasant to stop and enjoy a mulled wine or a glass of Prosecco. Something for everyone here !!

There are some scary characters in Manchester.

There are some scary characters in Manchester. My daughter lives there, which worries me. I had a scary experience myself once, with an Uber driver who kept trying to dump me, even though my daughter paid up front. He was not the proper driver and told me it was his son's taxi. He had been offered another job to do, so wanted rid of me. 4 times he tried to ditch me, once down a back alley. Im 56, female and disabled. I had to get quite insistent with him. It has put me off travelling to Manchester and my daughter is moving to Yorkshire, thank goodness. It's a shame about the dodgey characters as it's a beautiful city.

Good size double bed, quality tv with easy access to channels, good storage, and a bathroom with an actual bath, room service, and hotel restaurant were good quality and easy to order. Overall, as a solo traveller, this hotel is great as it is in close proximity to bus stops straight into the city centre and has shops, cafes, and takeaways in close proximity also Would definitely stay again when I next visit Manchester
