Middlewich is a small town with a few town centre pubs and restaurants. Not very far from the town, there are walks along the canal path with a busy working lock. Loved the place it was OK for our stay and we could compare both rooms one was bijou and modern for our daughters and ours a large family suite. The room was clean and comfortable although it was next to a busy road so was a little bit noisy but, in fairness, the hotel can't control the volume of traffic. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. It was very quiet during the night so was able to get an excellent nights sleep, there is a modern breakfast and meal stall in the hotel carpark from 7 am. and a neat terrace, with tables, up the metal stairs to the entry door, to eat it on. Room 8 is very large, some would call it a mini-suite, with equally large en-suite and spacious shower.
