I stayed with Kelly and Matt for 4 nights and they made me feel like home. We had wonderful conversations and were always laughing. Thanks again for that! The room was clean and nice. They are just upgrading the rooms as they took the place over last November. I loved that they posted the pictures of all the rooms online, so you know exactly what you are getting. The relaxed pub athmosphere was super nice and the breakfast wonderful. I always got a cooked meal that I was able to choose from a menu and there were juices, cereals, joghurts and more. And both of the hosts were super helpful with giving tips and infos. I really hope to be back! After staying at another hotel for the first few nights, that didn't feel like England, it was wonderful to switch and enjoy the Cornish athmosphere and hospitality. Again, thank you very much!

The hotel is located on the verge of a magnificent cliff overlooking the sea. Our room had therefore an exceptional view! The check-in was smooth, the staff was extremely friendly and even allowed us to check in two hours prior to our actual check-in time (we travelled by bus, the schedule is a little unpredictable). The room was clean, we even found a tray generously filled with tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, and packed cookies. These were usually refilled during the morning cleaning. The breakfast was really tasty. Lastly, the location was extremely convenient. Apart from its beauty, it also allows guests to make hikes to other must-see places such as Kynance Cove, Lizard point or Mullion.

A lovely place to stay in Lizard My stay here was awesome. Lovely accommodations, clean and thoughtful. Caroline always made me feel welcome and the breakfast was perfectly done, finger lickin’ good!     We have been going to Mullion for a long time and have a huge affection for it. We love visiting The Lizard, which now has the added interest of the archaeological dig going on - and the Polpeor Cafe has reopened which means you can sit with coffee and carrot cake and seal watch!!! There are lovely walks, Mullion Harbour is very pretty, the church is beautiful and is famous for it's pews and there are good places to visit. Porthleven - if you go there visit Mike Lacey's gallery called Waves. He does underwater photography - google the Cornish Heart it is an amazing story. St Kevern is a sweet village and has the added interest of Roskilly's organic ice cream farm!! Poldu Cove is gorgeous and the Polurrion Hotel has lovely gardens, a spa and it's own beach which is gorgeous. Very special part of the world.

    You definitely need a car to get to this place.

    You definitely need a car to get to this place. Its way off the beaten track and is an ideal place for a few days rest and relaxation as opposed to a base for traveling around the region. Fantastic facilities, including a lovely spa and small swimming pool. Lovely bar area, which could suit a group of friends or couples meeting up. The restaurant and the overall quality of the food is the biggest let down otherwise its a 10/10 facility.

    there are no downsides to a stay at this hotel. however...

    there are no downsides to a stay at this hotel. however bring nerves of steel for driving along the country lanes. not suitable for people who normaly drive on the right. or normally only travel on eight lane highways, for me the country lanes where a high spot. The food on offer at the hotel is excelent in both the bar and the restraurant, as is the service.

    Absolutely lovely stay.

    Absolutely lovely stay. Stayed at hotel for the entire time to relax. Menu in the hotel could be expanded a bit with a few more options. The bar people was excellent really helpful. The Spa was awesome and the lady providing the service was seriously knowledgeable about her work and provided really good info and help. I would come back for another stay.

    The location is stunning. Hotel is fabulous and traditional. Very clean and comfortable. Spa is beautiful and tranquil and not too busy. Food delicious and rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. All staff in the hotel were super helpful and welcoming. Will definately book to stay again.

    The hotel is in a beautiful spot with incredible views and they really make the most of it with the lounge/bar and restaurant spaces. The gardens are also beautiful and the outdoor pool had a great spot. The staff were lovely and very helpful and attentive. We had lunch in the vista bar and it was very good. Breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice and freshly cooked hot dishes. It was excellent value for Cornwall in the height of the summer holidays.

    We really enjoyed our time at the hotel, especially they have a great Spa facility and we enjoyed the time in Spa every day. It has everything you need, and the jacuzzi outside was the best one I have ever had in my life so far! And of course, the view from the hotel room was magnificent, and you cannot miss their Afternoon tea too :) Everything was perfect for us!
