AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE, LOVELY SETTING, GREAT BREAKFAST AND COFFEE. OH AND THE ROOM, WAS UNIQUE AND REGAL. GOOD OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERICE WITH A PERSONAL TWIST. IF I OPEN UP A HOSPITALITY VENUE IM AFTER ALL YOUR STAFF!

Lovely little pub in a quaint little village. Staff were very friendly as too were the patrons. Happened to be there on a trivia night and it was fun to observe. Had one of the best full English breakfast ever.

It was our second time back at Battlestead’s and it lived up to our previous memories of it and we loved staying in the luxury rooms which are private and give you a fabulous view of the stars from the deck outside . As a hotel our room was very comfortable, lovely comfy big bed and the host was very friendly and welcoming. And what is this…it’s an English pub, an extension to the hotel part. Had a lovely pint in there. And what is this…it’s a restaurant and the dinner and breakfast the following morning were both outstanding as was the service. This all under one roof and in addition to it all there is a private lounge for residents.
