Nuneaton is an interesting town, it has the famous daughter George Eliot with her statue and a room at the town's museum. It has good modern architecture, the library and the pit head baths at Ansley. Its high street is part of the revolution that is taking place and will have to change. People now shop online, they do not want the "high stgreet experience" however there is the Saturday market and one good pub, The George Eliot. Nuneaton has fierce competitors for a day out shopping,, Birmingham Leicester and Coventry are Close. Perhaps Nuneaton will be the first town to redevelop its high street as part of the revolution that is taking place. So far politicians have done little this is shown in the Brexit vote, new thinking is needed. I used to live nearby so this was a good base point for all I needed clean friendly and has all the facilities you need for a short trip , the only thing I was disappointed with is the big trees outside my apartment window blocking all natural light so had to have all lights on whilst in the hotel but it was comfortable .
