I have travelled through Oakham station before and this time...
I have travelled through Oakham station before and this time I got to try the brewery bar next door. A popular place with good real ales and, although we didn't eat there, the food looked very good. This hotel isnot for those who have any sort of limitation. Steps everywhere, even when you come out of the only small old lift. Doors are very heavy, my wife could not open the main door. Rooms big and very clean.Guest review byAnonymous

I believe it has changed hands recently we had a warm welcome however the public areas the carpet on the stairs needs replacing the hotel just needs a general overhaul .. iIt was exactly what we wanted for the two nights we were there tho.
