This hotel is really a hidden gem. I do admit that we found it by chance, and this sure was one lucky chance. Great hotel in an old building. The people working there, more or less made us feel more like family than guests, without in any way being invasive. They always had time for a little chat, and very politely suggesting things to see, and places to eat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Isle of Wight.

You couldn't ask for a better hotel to stay at. Centrally located steps from the pier in Ryde, you can drop your bags off at your room and start exploring the city right away. The listed building is gorgeous, and oozes charm and character. Staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful, willing to recommend places to see and where to eat. The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day, with many options to satisfy even a picky eater.

    This was something different for us being on the water but...

    This was something different for us being on the water but was interesting and enjoyable. My only grumble was not being able to get in to the apartment as not sent the welcome pack and didnt have correct door code. Had to phone for assistance this was given over the phone promptly. Apartment was well appointed and provided all we needed
