Attention from the hosts was brilliant! We had an initial tour upon arrival, and anything we needed, they were there to help us. The decoration and atmosphere of the place was very unexpected and amazing! It was friendly, tasteful and welcoming. The manor was quiet during our stay, so we were able to enjoy it almost for ourselves, including a long chat on the sofa after the cream tea and the swimming pool. Emma, the spa consultant, was just brilliant! Had an amazing 60 minute massage, and could have stayed for much longer! The attention to detail was amazing. Homemade cookies waiting for us in the room, and a bag with muffins for our journey back. Breakfast was just perfect. With a buffet and freshly cooked hot food to chose from, it was was an experience in itself.

A great base for exploring the many beautiful places in Cornwall. Lovely hotel, very comfortable rooms, very peaceful (never heard any noise at night!) Great breakfast and breakfast rooms were lovely. Pool was lovely. Would definitely return.

Was upgraded for free to the Hayloft suite. It is a fantastic room with kitchen, microwave, dishwasher etc.. The room comes with several TVs, large and cozy bunkbeds, nice king sized bed, lounge area AND terrasse!!! Truly a fantastic experience. Definitely the best room I have ever stayed in. Fantastic. Thank you.

    Didn't like Par (strung out and no centre or restaurants walking distance) but good access to Eden project and nice beaches which was why we were there You need a car. Accommodation was wonderful though!

    Two lovely beaches within walking distance although the walk to the sea is quite far out . The sand has a gorgeous glittery silver effect to it. Lots of pubs around and the locals are very friendly . We ate at The Welcome Home and the food was very nice and huge portions . Lots of parks around too and things for children . We did Cornwall football golf and avalanche slip n slide .

    We really liked the location the park was very clean , the facilities were excellent, the caravan was very comfortable and would love to stay there again ,having owned a caravan at Rockly park on Poole for nearly 10 years we know what we like , and was more than happy with our stay here .

    Par doesn't have the prettiest beach in Cornwall, that's for sure, but if you are looking for coastal walks and proximity to The Eden Project, then you can't go wrong. Par is a chilled village with a few shops and pubs.

    Freda's Treasure was a beautiful accommodation, and our host was lovely. The breakfast & food was very generous. Lasted us for a few days. Just a shame we didn't get much time to see Par but what we could see there was not much there unfortunately,

    An eyesore upon arrival, loved the yurt it was massive but the fire was way too small it needs to be bigger, needs more outdoor lights more secure ground work with drainage, mixed shower/toilet block, £10 per bag of fire lighting equipment and was only allowed to buy one per night and because the fire wouldn’t stay lit we frize so checked out early. Would only recommend staying with small children if you stay in the summer

    Beautifully clean and well presented caravan on a well-kept, quiet site, a stone's throw from Par beach - which is dog friendly all year round. Even on a wet and windy New Year's Day, our whole family enjoyed the beach! The small but lovely onsite pool is a great bonus. You are a few minutes walk from amenities including a Co-op and a good Chinese takeaway, and a short drive from some gorgeous other Cornish highlights like Charlestown. The host, Darren, was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with - thank you Darren!

    We travelled as a party of 10 adults plus one baby and so used all 3 apartments at the same time. All apartments are well thought out, modern, clean and tidy and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is plenty of parking available at the property. The hosts are lovely people and greeted us on arrival. Clean linen and towels are supplied. A bottle of milk was supplied for a well needed cuppa on arrival, and Harley had made sure the heating was on and so everything was warm and cosy for us.

    Penarwyn House was an excellent place for our short stay in Cornwall, with a central location to the places we wanted to visit. The Hosts, David and Rachel, were great. Chatting with David, he mentioned the rail services from Par. The next day, we took the train to St Ives, which was relatively inexpensive and really convenient, much easier than driving. The apartment was extremely well-presented and had everything we needed. The huge bed was really comfortable and the shower was great.

    Family meal in restaurant was lovely, plenty of food, large portions, attentive staff. Breakfast, plenty to chose from, always hot and delicious. Staff around the hotel all welcoming and accommodating. Kim, who was on reception, was very informative and extra helpful. Perfect setting. Really useful, would definitely stay again when in the area. Plenty of parking, easy to find.
