Penshurst is a beautiful quiet part of the country but a car is needed to get around. Very few places to eat and buy shopping. Penshurst Manor is the main attraction. If you love the Tudor period of history this is an amazing place to explore.Guest review bySue - 2.0
Did not have any fave spot as was not there long enough.
Did not have any fave spot as was not there long enough. Ate at the Leicester arms, where the service was slow at Dinner and Breakfast. Choice of breakfast in week is very poor. Is easy getting round as apart from Penhurst place there is nothing else to see. Would avoid at all costs staying at the Leicester Arms so will not be going to Penhurst ever again, very, very disappointing. Visiting Penshurst Place and gardens was considered when deciding to stay here. The village is small, and the picturesque buildings are ancient. There is a walk alongside penshurst place ,that has a public footpath . With wonderful views across the fields of sheep and cattle grazing.Guest review byisabelleUnited Kingdom
