The hotel was lovely the gardens was amazing the staff was brilliant nothing to much trouble we had dinner booked for 7.30 and I think it was the best dinner we have ever eaten complements to the chef the breakfast was so nice aswel nothing to complain about the rooms was clean and modern everything you needed even a fan I can not wait to go back and stay thank you for making our night away so nice xx

We had a very comfortable room with good facilities. We slept very well. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly. We had a great breakfast and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The beer was also very good. All in all we were very satisfied, the price was fair and we would be happy to come back.

Second time I have stayed here. Such a lovely home with a fab garden. Walkable to the town and not too far from other nice places. Lovely touches too, delicious cakes left for us to enjoy. Thankyou Alison!

The house is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the centre and just across the street to the Herriot museum. The house was fantastic, decorated to a high standard, but more importantly it gave us that home from home feel. Loved that it had two bathrooms, especially as we have a teenager who spends an hour in the bathroom getting ready! Without having to write everything we liked about this property, which would take some time, my advice would be this...don't delay, book it today! Oh, forgot to mention, communication was fantastic and we will definitely be coming back.

Such a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. So accommodating. Great room and sleep and lovely breakfast. Beautiful location, just be advised that you need to book a taxi in advance as there is little phone reception and it is hard to get a taxi last minute.
