Far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is set in expansive, attractive and peaceful surrounding grounds, complete with grazing sheep. For my purposes (doing the Chiltern ultra challenge which started/finished just across the road) the hotel is ideally located! Although part of Henley Business School, I didn’t get the feeling of being on an educational/conference campus at all (though I was there over the weekend). My room was very comfortable, modern and well furnished/equipped. Although the rooms are in separate blocks a short walk away (maybe 50 - 100 metres) from the reception/bar/dining areas, this didn’t detract at all and umbrellas are provided in all entrances, for if needed. The accommodation blocks (mine was “Bourne”) also felt totally safe and secure. Staff were extremely welcoming and polite. Breakfast buffet was extensive and high quality. Would certainly stay again.

Excellent location in the heart of Henley and right on the Thames. Lots of places to walk to and plenty of local cafes and restaurants nearby. Rooms are nicely decorated and bathrooms well maintained. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The room was clean and fresh, the windows were opened on our arrival. We had to contact the manager and he responded very quickly and professionally. The TV had a lot of channels. The shower was very powerful and the bathroom was very warm.

Great location with a good selection of National Trust...

Great location with a good selection of National Trust properties nearby. The views from the cottage were lovely and the hosts were the best we have ever had. They made us so welcome from the moment we arrived and made the stay a 5* experience.
