Polegate is great for access to the beaches at Eastbourne and Pevensey. Excellent retail parks and large supermarkets within easy reach - 10 minute drive away. Sovereign Harbour retail, restaurant and Marina nearby. So much to see and do in surrounding area, makes Polegate a great base. So pretty quiet and rural. Nature park reservoir just up the road. You do hear trains but they didn't seem to run during the night so slept soundly.
