The service offered by the owner and family impeccable. We arrived late due to flight issues and they couldn't have been more accommodating with our late check in... due to various reasons they also helped us with transport issues whilst we were in town and they made me the best breakfast I had in a very long time.

The room was bright and clean. The bed was comfy. The shower was great! The breakfast was very hearty. The afternoon tea with delicious scones was wonderful. No one makes scones like those at the Tontine! Location fantastic.

I love this hotel, the setting is open and rural with easy car parking. The rooms have been refurbished in line with the house's history. Rooms contain everything needed. Dinner was lovely and breakfast good. The public rooms take you back to an age of elegance. The stagf are always helpful. I have stayed here before and will again a lovely experience.

We had such a lovely stay! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. They even let us check in early, which was much appreciated. In the days preceding our arrival, Charles was very communicative and ensured we had all the necessary details to find the place easily and also find free parking. The property was spotlessly clean throughout. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Tea facilities were also available in our room. We had our own bathroom to use, which again was incredibly clean and spacious. A nice breakfast was also provided. The WiFi also worked well throughout our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and polite, which certainly contributed to making this stay delightful.
