I liked the fresh air, The Quay and the many places you can visit. I went on the Harbour Cruise and it was interesting commentary and relaxing. On the evening of Friday 7th November 2025, I ate at the Rockfish, the staff were extremely pleasant.

Not really impressed with the Town of Poole.

Not really impressed with the Town of Poole. Looked tired and a bit cheap and cheerful in patches. But appeared to have a good selection of various shops and cafe's the length of the high street.

Lots to do and see beautiful countryside. The Quay was lovely and well thought out. Shopping was reasonable and plenty of choice. Good bus links and open topped bus looked fun. We had family in Poole went to Greyhound Pub in country and had excellent Sunday lunch. The cowshed in Upton did excellent breakfast.

We liked Poole a great deal as we were there during a festival of the sea event there was lots going on, with music and special exhibitions. Very vibrant. Walking friendly and well sited for other attractions nearby. We went on 'Jurassic coast and steam train' package which had been given to us as a Christmas present.

Hotel is located in a very peaceful part of old Poole sufficiently far away from the more lively Poole Quay. We couldn't get our car into the small hotel car park as it was full but public parking is located nearby. We loved our room - good size and very stylishly decorated. Very helpful receptionist who also carried a suitcase to our room. Great outdoor seating area which gets the evening sun and was a lovely place to have an evening drink before dinner. Dinner was good but prices have risen since our last visit.

Room: comfortable. clean, all the right things in the right places. Hotel facilities: fascinating place with plenty of RNLI history to read about. Excellent RNLI shop. Staff really friendly & had time for us. Restaurant: reasonable value, accommodated kids menu, good selection, very good beers. Excellent breakfast. Parking: free as part of the room rate. Cost: one of the cheaper hotels in Poole, but I'm sure one of the best.

The Holiday Inn at Poole is excellent value and perfect place to stay after watching a show at the Lighthouse theatre. We had a nice evening meal and a drink before the show and a very good breakfast in the morning. the room was very good value for one night and with a 24 hour parking space for approximately £8 on top, it represented excellent value. this was our second stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly too.

The location was definitely the best thing about the hotel. The staff were also excellent and very friendly . I have visited Poole Harbour for many years but first time I’ve stayed there . Quite expensive for the 4 night stay but again I feel that’s down to location
