If you want to be treated like royalty and get the best value for your money, come to the White Horse. It was my husband's birthday, but I never hoped that staying in a hotel could make this day so special. Needless to say that the hotel itself is magnificent, the room was fantastic, very beautiful and comfortable etc. But it's the staff's work and the management's choices that make this place stand out. At the pub's restaurant we were served delightful and adventurous (and very moderately priced) 100% vegan food (vegan English pie!!!) coupled with two free glasses of Prosecco for the occasion (they kindly replaced them with drinks of our choice since we don't drink), which made our evening. The room was full of charm, had a lot of treats for the evening tea and a hand-written card, and in general the hotel kept pleasantly surprising us at every corner. The full English breakfast was also adapted for our vegan needs. I'm looking forward to coming back and giving my parents-in-law a gift stay as well, because after our visit I can be sure to recommend this place to the most special people and be sure they will have the time of their lives here. Thank you for making my husband and me so happy on his special day!

We loved our stay in Bloc. It was for one night because we were having a flight early in the morning. The location is great because it's in the airport itself, so you don't have to worry about taking a taxi at night since no public transport is available at that time. The check in and check out process was easy and smooth. We didn't have to contact any humans in person:) Lift and room access can be through the app. However, they have a face to face traditional check in and out if you are not into new things. Although you can avoid physical contact with the staff, you can feel their support through WhatsApp. The room was clean, small without the window, but we found space for our luggage and even managed to open the bags to get something. The bathroom is also small, but has a great shower. I would recommend having flip flops with you because the shower is not separated from the toilet in any way. The bed was very comfortable, we slept like babies. Drinking water is provided in the room and the hot drinks are outside the room. We will stay there again.

    Reigate is lovely. Priory Park is beautiful. There are some lovely restaurants in Reigate and some wonderful historic buildings. I probably wouldn't choose to stay at the Bridge House Hotel again but we have enjoyed Reigate.

    We used to reside in Reigate until 4yrs ago when we moved away to be beside the sea. Reigate is a lovely place with lots of history. It has great commuter lines with trains & buses or by car. Lovely parks. Excellent shops, restaurants, bars & cafes.

    As Reigate old town and high street can get full of traffic,...

    As Reigate old town and high street can get full of traffic, we recommend travelling into reigate by bus - or even walking from the Reigate Manor Hotel down hill - about 20 minutes. The town itself has some interesting buildings and is full of olde worlde charm. THere is a castle and some pleasant parks as well as good shops and Pubs or restaurants. WE had Sunday lunch at our hotel which was an excellent carvery with good waiting staff.

    Lovely place for people who enjoy hiking&nature. Reigate Hill and Gatton park are amazing for a long, relaxing walk and the view is amazing. In terms of shopping or sightseeing, there isn't much - just your classic UK high street experience. Good place for a one-day getaway from London.

    Nothing any good at the hotel but the town was very pleasant. Room carpet was filthy. There was no bin to put waste in and we asked for one but nothing ever came. Window was filthy and had not been cleaned for months. We understand the hotel had just been taken over. We were told there was no chef when we arrived at the restaurant but the had a short menu who cooked it we do not know but it was very poor. We had Eggs and supposedly hand carved ham and something else which I cannot remember. It was cold and we left most of it. There was no breakfast in the morning and we could not get out of their fast enough the following morning. We had paid by voucher which was dearer thane originally booked and then they presented us with an invoice for £80 odd. You asked about having a television there was one but only BBC 1 and 2 worked. I wrote a review of another hotel I stayed in the week before in Wigan and that was bad and you said you would not publish it. If you do not publish this one I am likely to take further action.
