AMAZING STAFF, SO, SO BUSY BUT ATTENTIVE , FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. A REAL ASSETT TO THE HOTEL. SORRY I DONT HAVE NAMES BUT THE GUY WHO LOOKED AFTER US AND THE BAR GIRL WERE GREAT. AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE, LOVELY SETTING, GREAT BREAKFAST AND COFFEE. OH AND THE ROOM, WAS UNIQUE AND REGAL. GOOD OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERICE WITH A PERSONAL TWIST. IF I OPEN UP A HOSPITALITY VENUE IM AFTER ALL YOUR STAFF!

Great to have the choice of a full vegetarian breakfast on the breakfast menu, portion was large, very filling.. Also nice to have a vegetarian choice on the Steak and bottle of wine night offer, not something we've come across previously.

We spent three nights at Rye Hill Farm as a couple and had a truly lovely stay. The location is peaceful and beautifully set in the countryside, yet still close to Hexham and Hadrian’s Wall. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Our family room was clean, spacious, cozy, and well-equipped — just what we needed to relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. Parking was great. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We felt genuinely looked after. Breakfast was delicious, with quality local ingredients and a nice selection. We really appreciated the quiet, the views, and the authentic farm atmosphere. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. We would definitely recommend Rye Hill Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful rural getaway.

I really enjoyed my stay here.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. You can tell they put thought into the little details, which made it feel extra comfortable and welcoming. The location was great too – quiet, but still close to everything. The staff (or host) was super friendly and made check-in really easy, which I appreciated after a long trip. Overall, just a really great experience. I’d 100% stay here again and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, stress-free place to stay!
