We went into Ringwood on a Saturday and it was quite busy ( as expected). We were surprised at the number of "nice" shops there as opposed to charity shops etc., We were a little disappointed at the seemingly lack of signposts when we were trying to,complete walks around the outskirts but, nevertheless, managed to find our way about. Also surprising was the number of car parks and not overly expensive either.....another bonus. AND you could insert cash to pay!! Yippee!!! Well done Ringwood!Guest review bySainsbury - 10.0

Ringwood was the ideal spot to visit the New Forest and surrounds. The Moors Valley Country Park is a five minute drive away. You could spend a full two days here, there is so much to do. You can also visit Paultons Park which is 30 mins drive or Beaulieu which is also 30 minutes away. It is only 20 mins drive to the south coast beaches. The room is nice and private as it is across the yard at the back of the pub. It has everything you'll need and the bed is very comfortable. I spent hours looking on Airbnb and Laterooms etc for something which is private and found nothing for this price which wasn't a room in a shared house.
