Peaceful location, close walk to town. I highly recommend Laurel Lodge for parkrunners as it's a pleasant warm-up walk to Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School. Breakfasts are delicious. Brenda is an amazing host, thank you for making my stay so memorable!

Was so impressed with Hangman's Cottage that I felt compelled to write a review. The place has got an endearing contemporary quaint look, was spotless, and smelled brand new; And it was VERY well equipped. I'm not normally one to comment on decor, but the interior was so beautiful that you felt as though you'd stepped into a magazine. Importantly, it was quiet. In the end, the fact that I could not park next to the cottage paled into insignificance. Would highly recommend a stay here and most certainly visit again.

an absolute gem of a place 👍😁. very clean and tidy with all the facilities you need. Close to town however there’s a garage service station directly opposite so if you need anything it’s on your doorstep. Great little place 👍😁
