What an absolute gem! Highly recommend staying in this delightful boutique hotel with all you can need. This included shampoo, conditioner, liquid and cake soap, bubble bath, eye masks, shower caps, vanity packs, and delicious biscuits. There was also a sensational restaurant that was well worth dining in for. The upstairs room, with ensuite, overlooked the garden with bird feeder and was very quiet. Parking was on site with plenty of space. The hotel is set in some lovely gardens overlooking the ocean loch. The staff were amazing.

Room was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, the attention to detail was excellent. Both the dinners and breakfasts were top notch. Family run hotel and it shows, the hotel is impeccable and they obviously love what they do. Would definitely stay again. Don't often rate a hotel 10, maybe once or twice in 12+ years, but this one deserved it.

Sophie and Stuart were exceptional hosts. We had the soup on arrival which was delicious. Breakfast was great as well. Would recommend the Lodge to anyone.

Our previous booking for the day had cancelled at the last minute and we had to find something quickly within couple of hours and that’s how we ended up here. Boy , what a beautiful place to stay. Clearly sign posted and was given the right instructions on how to reach the property as it is just off the main road. The views were breath taking. The owner had realised about our urgency and was kind enough to keep some eggs, cereal and the best part oat milk as I was lactose free. He even came out in the cold night to check on us asking if we had enough food with us for the night as we arrived quite late at the property. The biscuits , herbal teas and marshmallows were a treat. We really enjoyed our stay here . Early morning we were greeted by the lovely chickens. The ladies gave us company as we had breakfast while enjoying the view. As we were leaving he even came to help us with our things and the gates. Couldn’t have asked for more. This was the best stay in our NC500 week.

This lovely cabin was located just metres away from a lovely beach. The location is very peaceful and the space is perfect for one or two people. The cabin is perfectly equipped with kitchen appliances and the view is just breathtaking. The host is super available and kind. Communication was absolutely great. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the Assynt area.

the accommodation is in a beautiful location and the view is really incredible. but you should know that there is "nothing" far and wide except nature, the coast and lots of sheep. it is really relaxing and brings peace into the day. there's a lovely tea house about 10 minutes' drive away that sells delicious snacks as well as homemade candles, creams and fragrances. it's well worth a visit.

Amazing stay, little welcoming cottage with all the necessary commodities , including a fireplace/wood burner that we could use. Really felt as if we were at home. The setting of the cottage in the surrounding area was really nice too, with birds and goats frequently around the house. Definitely recommend !! The host Paul was very welcoming and attentive.
