This place was a real surprise. Everything was great about this place. Rooms large, clean and comfy, very friendly welcome and the absolute highlight: the restaurant. We had a great dinner which we enjoyed very much. Large variety of different dishes and each and every course we had was absolutely good. The same experience we made with the cooked breakfast. Will come back for sure.

Good traffic management and brilliant access to motorways & Airport. No favourite place did not stay long enough. Hotel accommodation abysmal. Left Scunthorpe having visited hotel and comprehended dirt, grime and unsanitary conditions inside.

There are some nice areas in scunthorpe but too many not so...

There are some nice areas in scunthorpe but too many not so nice.I have two young children of ago/ English de scent and we have had problems with certain quarters one of a violent nature which both me and my daughter where assaulted.But the schools are excellent and there are some decent pubs and eating places once u get used to the place.

We had a problem with the Toilet, the staff was told about this, the replay was " We know about the problem" that was it, no we will move you to a new room or even an apology. Since then We are receiving a refund.

Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins.

Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins. Then abt 25min walk to The Baths Hall Theatre. Near to a Wetherspoons pub on the way. Called the Blue Bell Inn. Lovely food & staff. Great place. Heater in the room. Plenty of buses. Near a great museum.

One of the friendliest places we've been to.

One of the friendliest places we've been to. Lots to do some lovely shops in the town centre and plenty if places rp eat and drink. Will definitely visit again we didn't have enough time there. Lovely bnb right in the centre with free parking

Everything i needed was within 150yds of the hotel.

Everything i needed was within 150yds of the hotel. Restaurants, bars, take aways etc. Perfect. Chinese Restaurant over the road and 40yds down not good however. Missed courses and extremely small portions. Rice served then 20 mins later the meat dish turned up.

My brother and I were staying in the north for a gathering of friends that weekend and had originally booked in to a franchise hotel closer to town. Following a fire alarm (another guest vaping in their room) and overall noise disturbances, we chose to relocate to the Pines. The hotel was as expected and we wish we'd booked there instead. Friendly staff, great rooms and not much more expensive than the other hotel.

In our work we have stayed at some of the finest hotels across the world. The standard and quality of decor here, not only matched, but in many cases surpassed these. A beautifully appointed room. Above that, the welcome that Scott and Sally gave, made us feel we had come home. We travelled with our Labrador, and we felt he was just as welcome. A big thank you to you both. Hope to have the chance to stay again.

I have stayed in other places in Scunthorpe before. After staying in filthy, mould infested rooms like from a horror movie, I finally found a place I felt like a guest! Modern, clean, warm. Spacious room, comfy bed, no black mold in bathroom (!), hot shower, room service breakfast.
