The room was cosy and tucked away from the main road. The landlady was super helpful and very kind. The muffins on arrival were a kind gesture and they were delicious. It's very easy to get there on foot from Seaton so it's a great option for accommodation on your way exploring Jurassic Coast. 2 minutes away there's a bus stop for the Jurassic Coaster bus. I would stay again.

Seaton is often overlooked for other seaside towns which makes this a lovely quiet place to visit. Lots of local independent shops including 2 supermarkets and the main attraction of course is the Seaton to Colyton Tramway. Pebble beach but very clean and dogs are now allowed along the promenade all year round making it the ideal place to visit for all the family!

A very small town with few of the amenities one would expect at a seaside resort. Quaint would be the word. It was great to see independent local shops in place of generic chain stores on the high street. A special mention for the Hideaway cafe which was excellent. The green leaf tea room was very good also. We were lucky that we were there for the carnival (purely unintentional) which was well worth seeing.

Quiet peaceful town.

Quiet peaceful town. Seemed to be a lot of cafes/bars/shops closed. Not sure if it's not busy season yet or just all closing down. Nice cafe/bar along seafront... great seafood and other meals, well priced . Good aldi but not a lot else. Lovely seafront promenade walk. Pebble beach. Public toilets. Nice for a day visit.

lovely little place. Very small but still lovely. The tram ride is worth a go. We went to the furthest stop in Colyton and had a wander and drink in a couple of pubs, then went back to the next stop of Colyford and had a wander and a couple of drinks. The wildlife you can see from the tram is lovely and all the drivers are knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone seemed very friendly in the area.

We loved the 1970's style decor. My son said his bed was super comfy and we enjoyed some of the games together. Perfect location to visit lyme regis and sidmouth both only around 15 minutes away. Seaton beach was just a 5 minute drive. Chalet park is situated next to an esso garage for fuel and food. Also an Aldi in seaton itself.
