Extremely clean. Lots of cooking facilities. Towels were great quality. Had lots of storage for such a cosy property. Lots of little touches like usb at plug sockets and fairy lights within ceiling.Very peaceful location, with amazing views. Location was great next to the Wishing Well bar which is also the distillery of mermaid gin and bus stop across the road if not driving. Very easy arrival and key collection.

We made our booking via booking.com. We received our actual details of the property check-in via message on booking.com app on the day of arrival. I received a call on the day of arrival was offered an early check-in as well. However we were delayed due to a detour and were unable to make it on time to the reception (we were offered an early check as well). With some effort we were able to make it to the room and were able to find useful instructions on the room and open it as a self service. The cottage was beautiful with an excellent view and a kitchenette. All the rooms had enough space to move around and the heating was really good. The cottage had was excellent with proximity to the beach and closest places with enough space for parking. A definite space for people with kids and/or pets.

You couldn't ask for a better hotel to stay at. Centrally located steps from the pier in Ryde, you can drop your bags off at your room and start exploring the city right away. The listed building is gorgeous, and oozes charm and character. Staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful, willing to recommend places to see and where to eat. The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day, with many options to satisfy even a picky eater.

    Seaview is a quite pretty and classy area of the isle of Wight. The beach is lovely and the walk to Ryde is flat and scenic. Seaview felt safe (were were 2 women) and we would 100% return. Only negatives are very limited shops although there is a lovely community store in Seaview, and Ryde is only a 10 minute drive away.

    Seaview is a picturesque part of the IOW.

    Seaview is a picturesque part of the IOW. The coastline is lovely and not too hilly to stroll along. The beaches are a mixture of sandy and rocky. There's not much to the town other than a couple of restaurant pubs, a community shop and a few small supermarkets and a few cafes. I think this may be due to going out of season and when the weather was rubbish. It looks like you can hire dinghies and the like but I didn't. It's a short drive to Shanklin and Ventnor but the IOW is small so it's easy to visit anywhere on the island. Seaview is 20-30 mins from Fishbourne by road depending on traffic.

    The area is beautiful and long walks around the beach are a must. The accommodation was lovely and it felt like we were in a little village. The local wildlife was extraordinary and very entertaining to watch over the beautiful landscape. Down the road are two wonderful pubs, The Fort and The Boat House, Both provide delicious food although the Boat House was quite expensive. The area provides easy access to Ryde and Newport which leads to most of the Island. The roads are easy to drive with no Motorways or busy commuter roads. No matter where you go the scenery is breathtaking. Seaview is a lovely town, very clean and the people are extremely friendly. We would certainly return.

    As an elderly couple with movement problems the nearby...

    As an elderly couple with movement problems the nearby seawall and promenade allowed us to enjoy daily walks overlooking the Solent. The variety of yachts, cruise ships and speed boats moving between the mainland and the Island and going out to sea giving us an interesting view.

    Lovely town, nice pub the boathouse served nice food and a really great location not far from the ferry at all and surrounding villages like Bembridge and Saint Helens and then down to sanddown are just beautiful

    The location is great. There are several beaches that you can get to with ease. The house we stayed in was larger than our requirements and could have slept 8. Which would have made the price per person extremely competitive. The people at the reception were very knowledgeable of attractions on the island. All in all the holiday exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again.

    We visited recently with our 5 year old grandson. Saltwater Lodge was perfect for our stay & Natasha was an excellent host. The Lodge is perfectly located for the lovely beaches & great choice of pubs within walking distance. The accommodation was spotlessly clean on arrival & the extra touches of fruit, drinks etc were very mush appreciated. I’d recommend a visit without hesitation.
