Great apartment close to the Lake District. Prices are "good" considering that everything in the Lake District is super expensive. The self-check-in worked fine; we got multiple emails reminding us how to do that.

The cottage has been renovated to an extremely high standard in keeping with the age and past history of the building. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and helpful. The bedroom was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were great facilities. There is a washing machine, microwave, hob, and oven, amongst other things. Parking for one car is right outside the door. The cottage was very cosy while a storm blew outside. A little home from home, this is the perfect setting for a couple to explore this area. We will definitely return.

    Caw Cottage is simply wonderful.

Caw Cottage is simply wonderful. It has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Perfectly placed to explore this beautiful area and with Sedbergh just a few miles down the road with a number of good pubs/restaurants, everything is within easy reach. Caw Cottage is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfortable too. The hosts are nearby, very friendly and helpful, but very respectful of your privacy. Caw Cottage is a gem of a place. Well worth the visit.

Sedbergh is such a beautiful place and a throw back to years gone by. We have visited here for six years and just love it. The locals are very friendly and there are great places to eat and drink. The scenery is stunning and there are some fabulous walks. Visit the ‘Thirsty Rambler’ for a great pint.

Lovely little town. Fabulous centre for walking, the Howgills on the doorstep and other fells close by. Not far to Hawes which is another lovely dales town. Good choice of eateries. The Dalesman restaurant was excellent. Real ale pub too, the Thirsty Rambler what more can you want

We stayed for four nights. Sedbergh stands alongside the best that England has to offer and comfortably holds its own. We have been exploring its environs for 24 Years. The magnificence of the Western Dales is well served - so much to see and plenty to do. Millthrop is a beautiful gem. The River Lune at Killington Bridge is the Queen of Rivers: the Rawthey is its daughter and the Clough and Dee its granddaughters. Check 'em out peeps - you won't be disappointed.

The house has been renovated completely - photographs of the project in the info folder - and everything has been done really nicely. Very comfortable and spacious. The Dalesman pub garden, accessible through a gap in the hedge opposite, is nearer than the bar in most hotels, and the pub also served very good food.

The location was excellent to Sedbergh in a quite cul-de-sac. The house itself was comfortable with all necessary amenities. It was very clean for the most part. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable. The towels were big, lovely and soft. Fresh milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.
