The front of house staff (Julien and Ffion) were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms had all been refurnished a couple of years ago and the room I stayed in was excellent. I ate in the Inn on the Saturday night and had breakfast on the Sunday morning. Both were top quality. The starters and main meals in the restaurant had recommended wines on the menu, which was a nice touch. I had the smoked eel salad followed by the skate.

Edwards house is lovely. Exactly as i imagined a british b&b. It is very cozy and our host edward was very helpful and super friendly. Also a cute cat named milly lives there, which is a plus (: breakfast is also provided, so i can totally recommend! if you wanna go hiking, its near pan y fan and some other beautiful hiking routes.

Comfy bed, really clean, toasty warm (it was November) and loads of space. The location was perfect - we like the restaurant in the pub so it was ideal to be staying on the premises. Also it was close to where friends were staying. Every time we've been to the Bear we've had a good experience - such friendly staff. It was also dog friendly - a big plus.

We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important.

We travelled on a motor bike so eating locally is important. We tried two of the three pubs and enjoyed the food at both. We would like to have walked from the property but this wasn’t possible, which was a disappointment.

We had a lovely stay at Castle Lodge the owners and the accommodation were just what we needed it was a perfect base for us to explore the area for a potential house move to Wales. We visited Brecon and Builth Wells and found everyone we met was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day. We had our evening meal at a local pub in Sennybridge and ended up having a great evening talking to the locals.

Interesting and comfortable hotel with wonderful staff. Wood burner stove in lounge. Delicious food served & great breakfast. Slightly out of town with huge car park. Good security for our bikes, they kindly let us put our bikes round the back out of sight. Thank you.

Great Hotel and would highly recommend it. Stopped for one night and a great evening meal. I didn't need to eat the next day after consuming a brilliant cooked breakfast. Recommended!
